"Driven by unhealthy obsessions with vintage synthesizers & drum machines, Spiritual Slum created synth-driven aural despairs with his old equipments somewhere in Melbourne. The feelings of isolation are reflected through the echoing vocals, accompanied by minimal and icy beats, with the hints of sci-fi paranoia.

'Wasting Time' is Spiritual Slum's third EP, previously released digitally in September. But with an uncontrolled desire to preserve this electronic melancholia, Private Experiment decided to release it on cassette format. A coping mechanism to embrace the age of uncertainty. An artifact of the post-pandemic broken world."
